Pottery Wheel Throwing Workshop - Beginners

Ever wanted to learn the potters wheel and make your own gorgeous bowls and cups?

During this three hour pottery wheel throwing workshop you will learn and practice the basics of using the potter’s wheel with Dawn Whitehand.

What you will learn:

Clay preparation
Clay centring
Making a bowl
Making a cylinder
Slip and carving decorative techniques.

Dawn will demonstrate the techniques you need to achieve making your pots, and you will then have the opportunity to practice these making methods.

Enrol yourself or enrol a group of friends. Your fee covers studio access, tools & equipment, tuition, all materials and kiln firing of three finished pots. (you may pay extra firing fees for more pots if you choose)

The class is limited to 6 participants so that plenty of time is available for your learning experience.

This workshop is aimed at adults of 18yrs and older.
