Open Studios - Drawing the women of Versailles

Explore the evolution of fashion with this 18th century French themed drawing workshop focusing on fabric and form with artists, performers and trainers, Amie Brulee and Cecily Davis. Beginning with the under layer of garments, each pose will include an additional layer of clothing to the Versailles Woman , building upon the silhouette to reveal different parts of the dress, textures, shapes and forms. This tutored workshop will develop participants' observational drawing skills through a series of guided exercises.

Free but bookings essential.
