With a particular focus on the medieval tradition of ‘Punto Assisi’, Fiona Crawford will discuss the embroidered textiles in her current exhibition created in vintage linen, thread and text, and how her methodologies and materials have enabled her to not only transgress conventions but also explore and reinterpret women’s stories.
