Out of Joint is a response to The Tragedy of Hamlet, The Prince of Denmark using parts of Shakespeare’s text along with snippets of material generated by the ensemble. It has been created entirely over Zoom during the second Covid lockdown in Victoria in 2020.

The cast and crew are scattered across Australia yet by exploring the rich language given to us by Shakespeare we have been able to create something that responds with humanity and humour to this well-known and much loved play.

A Chorus Line tells the story of a group of dancers, desperate for that next job and having to bare their souls in the process. At a time when so many artists have had their livelihoods taken from them, A Chorus Line, online, captures the love, struggle and dedication of all performers in this innovative version of a classic.

In times of trauma, fear, frustration and confusion, people want to talk.... we’ve all been on a rollercoaster and have so much to share: the funny, the ridiculous, right through to our darkest moments.
This is a play of experiences - gathered by online posts from the people of Ballarat and Melbourne and crafted into a script for online theatre by Emma Wood.
Ever been to a surround sound bowling show? We haven’t either so we’re doing one, come sit and watch acts roll out from every lane in the original ‘80s Ballarat Bowls. Hot chips and slushies all round Be_Hear/Now. with some rock n bowl bands, drag queens, Devil Goats String Band and the local hip hop crew Exist Dance … see you in lane 7.

An exhibition of local Ballarat craft creatives and the items made during isolation.
Displayed items will be available for purchase. A fantastic opportunity to add a wonderful, hand made item into your collection.
Isol-Aid is coming to Ballarat! The award winning online music festival and gathering space will feature local Ballarat performers. Each artist will play a 20-minute set, streamed live via their Instagram accounts. At the end of their set, each musician will tag-team the next artist to play, sending fans down a rabbit hole of new music discovery, community, and good feels.
