Open Studios - Weaving traditional Wadawaurrung necklaces with proud Wadawurrung ba‐gurrk (woman), Tammy Gilson - CANCELLED

Tammy respectfully acknowledges Country and her ancestors and elders who have stood
before her. The spiritual connection to her ancestors and country, has guided her to revitalise and continue cultural practices today such as weaving.

Tammy says,” weaving is part of my journey as an Aboriginal woman, woven circles represent
the yarning over the years and the passing of knowledge, cultural identity, strength, family and
resilience.” Join Tammy while she shares her stories and weaving skills.
