Ana Petidis is a studio weaver based on the unceded lands ohf the Wadawarrung/Ballarat. Having studied textiles at RMIT, her practice is process driven, often concerned with human ecology and embraces material exploration, colour and techniques. Ana hand weaves and tells stories reflecting on human relationships in western contemporary life.

Susan’s abstract floral and botanical works seeks to capture and communicate the dynamism and magic of nature through fluid, expressionistic and colourful interpretations of nature’s treasures. Primarily working in acrylics, mixed media and occasionally oils, Susan is inspired by her beautiful and everchanging garden where he children play while she works on her verandah.

Carolyn Elsworthy creates unique wearable art using the Shibori methods of stitching, wrapping, binding, pleating and folding. Carolyn manipulates colour, pattern and texture using natural organic fibres - pure cotton, silk. wool and alpaca in her work, Experimenting with fabric painting, marbling, indigo, eco dyeing and combining various methods allows Carolyn to experiment and explore the unknown.

Linda’s work weaves together historic and contemporary narratives, symbology and process and art materials, so that the artwork bridges different eras of human history, with the aim that we may know ourselves more deeply. Always, as a process to exploring meaning from the multi-facets of human experience.

Donna is a sculptural ceramic artist born in Ballarat and completed her Ceramic studies at Ballarat Federation University under the excellent guidance of Neville French and Mary Rasmussen. It was during this time she developed a fascination for crystalline, a difficult and fickle specialty which she continues to experimentation with. Her works are exhibited locally, across Victoria collected internationally.

Dawn Whitehand is a practicing artist and arts facilitator with over 20 years experience, currently located at her business, Claymotion. With a PhD in Fine Arts focusing on ceramics, she has exhibited nationally and internationally, been awarded an art residency and written a book about the history of ceramics and pit fired pottery.

Grace Bailey's paintings are mostly metaphors for elements of the human condition, often using animals to represent different facets; love, hope, compassion, determination, etc. They are exhortations to rise above the circumstances and embrace the good, the noble and the lovely. Grace often works in front of a live audience during worship.

Tammy respectfully acknowledges Country and her ancestors and elders who have stood
before her. The spiritual connection to her ancestors and country, has guided her to revitalise and continue cultural practices today such as weaving.

Tammy says,” weaving is part of my journey as an Aboriginal woman, woven circles represent
the yarning over the years and the passing of knowledge, cultural identity, strength, family and
resilience.” Join Tammy while she shares her stories and weaving skills.

As humans, it's imperative that we 'make'. To 'make' requires skill and attention to details. It means looking differently at the items that surround us, to slow down our world and to invest time and talent into a craft. The Lost Ones Makers Studio is a space to celebrate the Makers, Benny Mitchell and Rachel Grose .

Lynne is taking a chance and realizing her potential, and her abilities to become a practicing artist. Her works explore portraiture through a range of media on board, canvas and jigsaws using stud adhesive, acrylic paint, marker pens and oil pastels. Her new works explore the potential of acrylic as a way of expressing line.

Laura is a works with paint and mixed media to create her work. She has a diverse background which includes having established a Screen-Printing studio, an art tutoring business, working as a disability and arts practitioner and has led art workshops in a variety of techniques to hundreds of students. Demonstrations 1-3pm each day

Neville French is a ceramic artist who works mainly with porcelain to create sculptural vessels that explore place and space. His exhibition pieces evoke notions of quietude and transcendence through the expressive use of wood fired glaze and its relationship to form, tactility, space and light. Neville will also have a selection of functional dinner ware alongside his equisite exhibition pieces.

Katie Chancellor is a contemporary artist whose practice has evolved from urban art paste ups into colourful birds painted on wood panels, symbolic of her memories growing up on a farm in Alexandra. She creates large, vibrant, abstract paintings while her quirky creatures will continue to appear through film, projection, mural, sound art, drawing or in a laneways.
