Lunchtime Workshop Series: Q & A Creative Space Funding

The City of Ballarat has been included in a new grant fund opened by Creative Victoria by invitation.

Ballarat has been identified as a location of high creativity and as such is attracting invitation-only funding to support our creative practitioners and industries.

Applications may be accepted for requests between $3,000 to $25,000 depending on the project type.

Mosaic Clock Workshop - In Studio or Online

Led by experienced artist Dawn Whitehand, during this terms mosaic workshop we are making a clock using a range of tesserae (mosaic tiles) including pottery shards, glass tiles, pebbles, and pretty much anything else you may like to include, so feel free, if you have something special, to bring it along. The substrate will be 5mm plyboard. Clock mechanisms are available at additional cost.

before her. The spiritual connection to her ancestors and country, has guided her to revitalise and continue cultural practices today such as weaving.

Tammy says,” weaving is part of my journey as an Aboriginal woman, woven circles represent
the yarning over the years and the passing of knowledge, cultural identity, strength, family and
