ARTISTS OF THE GREAT TAKEAWAY 2024
Each of the artists of the Great Takeaway are commissioned for their work. There are 7 ceramicists designing side and main plates. One glassmaker is commissioned to produce all of the glassware for the event. One weaver produces all of the napery. The cutlery sets are Australian designed and produced.
Each setting is unique. No one combination of plates, glassware and napery is the same. Each setting is marked for the user and our guests enjoy a sumptuous feast of shared food.
All of our makers have a connection to Ballarat - they live, work or study here. They are connected by story and family. Find out more about the artists below.
