Free Event. The Jacquard Loom Network welcomes everyone, from the complete novice to seasoned textile artists, to connect and be inspired together.

During this special open studio, visitors are invited to see the Jacquard loom up close, explore intricate woven samples, and learn the history of our loom through collected footage and photographs. You’ll have the chance to chat with a passionate community of weavers, artisanal coders, engineers, and educators — a cross-disciplinary group that reflects the rich complexity of this craft.

For visitors wanting to try weaving, we will have table looms set up in the space with materials provided and members on hand to guide people through the basics. No experience is needed — just an open mind and a willingness to play.
