WORKSHOP: Screenprinting with Jess Schroeter

  • Jessica Schroeter's Pop-Up Print Place (Main Road Creative) 50 Main Road Bakery Hill, VIC, 3350 Australia (map)

Anyone can learn to screen print in this introductory course. Transform your very own drawn design into a stencil that can be printed onto paper and fabric.

There is no set design theme and your print can be anything that interests you. All attendees are encouraged to bring along some of their own sketches for inspiration or to use a provided designs if they would prefer. You can even bring your own tea-towel, or a light-coloured t-shirt to print on!

All materials are provided, from machine-washable inks and screens to 100% cotton tea-towels for you to take home on the day, adorned with your own unique design.

The workshop space is located in town, a short walk (less than 15 minutes) from the Mining Exchange, it offers a quiet, creative space with room for care-givers and attendees. The studio space is wheelchair accessible, fitted with toilets and has plenty of off-street parking!

This is an inclusive workshop, everyone is welcome and it’s open to all ages (please note children under 16 must attend with a guardian or adult.)

Tickets are priced at $150.00 each. Attendees are asked to please bring an apron and wear close-toed shoes.

Please allow four hours to create your work as it takes time to make something truly great!
