“When I was asked to be a part of this project I spoke to my dad who is a keen birdwatcher, and he mentioned he had seen a beautiful Nankeen Night Heron on that very walk. He said he had always thought Night Heron was a good name for a song. So I wrote the song about the beautiful connection humans can have with wildlife when we sit still for long enough and quiet our mind enough to sense the magic of the natural world around us.
